Antique Snuffbox

Antique round snuffbox, silver-plated brass with hallmarked
tendril decoration. England 1840-1860. The opening, which can be closed by turning the lid, releases exactly the amount of tobacco that is needed for a pinch. This style of snuffbox was extremely popular in Victorian times. Very nice condition.
