Antique Tobacco Pipe
Antique tobacco pipe by the A. Partsch company in Schemnitz, made from so-called Schemnitz clay. Fired ceramic, elaborately glazed for Schemnitz pipes. Gold-plated with the company stamp and the eagle trademark. Nickel silver fittings, original pipe stem with its lacing and horn mouthpiece. Very nice, well-maintained condition. Every well-maintained pipe collection should include at least one Schemnitz pipe. Schemnitz-Pernitz 1860-70.
