Antique Meerschaum Pipe
An antique and very impressive meerschaum pipe with a fantastic, even, very rare, and beautiful pipe bowl patina. France, 1820-50. The pipe fittings are hallmarked silver. The stem and beak mouthpiece are very finely crafted from horn. The lanyard/chan is reconstructed using preserved fragments. Despite the enormous compactness of the meerschaum bowl and the stem as a whole, this enormous pipe is irresistibly impressive due to its robust elegance. It is in very good and beautiful condition.
