Antique Meerschaum Pipe
Oversized antique meerschaum pipes in complete condition have become very rare on the antiques market and even rarer to find. This one is enormous compared to normal pipe bowl sizes, almost gigantic. The thick ebony stem alone measures 21mm in diameter. The pipe bowl is fitted with a solid silver mount. The lid is decorated in the center with a relief of a stag. The lanyard has been partially replaced. Despite its enormous size, this pipe exudes an undeniable elegance and lightness. Probably German, between 1840 and 1870. Very fine and, for its size, very good condition. Deko not for sale!
