Rare iron snuffbox. Continental European 1785-1790, with owner's engraving "JW". Iron snuffboxes have been known since 1680, but due to the material, only a few well-preserved pieces can be found on the collector's market. For iron, this snuffbox is in very good overall condition and closes tightly. Deko not for sale!
