Porzellain snuff box

Porzellain snuff box in the form of a chamber pot. Handmade; France between 1900-1930, with floral motif and the ironic meaning, referring to the function of the chamber pot: "il est frais - it is fresh". The painted eye inside the pot refers to "I see what you do not see". Very nice condition, tight closing. These small snuff boxes are still ideal for storing snuff.
