Snuffbox

Snuff box made of stoneware in the form of a chamber pot; Handmade in France between 1900 and 1950. Hand-painted with flower motifs and the ironic saying "Froides mains, Baudes amours - Cold Hands, Warm Love"; Interior painting with one eye what jokingly interprets: "I see what you do not pull". Very nice condition, tight closing. Even today these snuff boxes are ideal for storing snuff.
