Antique Snuffbox from Stobwasser Manufactory

Original antique snuffbox from the Stobwasser manufactory, Braunschweig 1800-1820. Paper mache, lacquered in black with fine oil painting depicting one of the apostles. Despite the abrasion and the traces of use, which resulted from the intensive use of the snuffbox, the box is in a very good condition. This speaks for the high quality and stability of the can workpiece, which the Stobwasser manufactory required before the actual further processing and painting. No broken spots.
