Antique Snuffbox

Antique snuff box, fruit tree wood with very fine embossing on both sides. The top view is designed with an allegorical scene from rural life. In the edge of the lid is very finely engraved: "Vive la Duc de Bordeaux" means Duke Henri d'Artois 1820-1883. The inside of the snuffbox is lined with fine tortoiseshell. France between 1800-1840; very nice condition
