Rare antique pipe case with its original clay pipe. Fruit tree wood with brass fittings. France between 1750-1850. These pipe cases were almost exclusively made in France and, compared to the Dutch models, were more sparsely decorated or almost not decorated at all. The focus here was almost exclusively on pure functionality. Very good and very well maintained condition. Deko not for sale!
