Antique Meerschaum Pipe

Antique meerschaum pipe in the shape of a bear climbing a tree. Silver mounts, horn cones with cork coating and antler crown with a strong disc-bite mouthpiece made of horn. Original fishing line. Germany/Austria between 1840-1860. This type of pipe bowl with animal motifs was extremely popular at the time and is now one of the rarer antique tobacco pipes that can be found on the collector's market. This pipe is in a very nice condition with all original parts.Deko not for sale!
