Unusual and rare snuffbox with a tin and Carton Vernis design; (very good alloy of both materials, which gives this type of snuffboxes high stability and robustness); with carmine-red paint;
The lid is painted with a small Genere picture - en plain, which was wreathed with golden scrollwork. France between 1740 and 1770; very nice condition, perfect closing
