Baroque Snuffbox

Very old and rare baroque snuffbox from the early days of the snuffboxes; made of wood, Carton Vernis and with lid interior lining of tortoiseshell. Small efflorescence in tortoiseshell (which had no mechanical cause). The lid is painted in plain with farmers who catch birds. Very good condition! France between 1700 and 1730
