Elegant and very rare version of a snuffbox, in the form of a ship, from the time of the French Rococo. This snuffbox consists of the already expensive tortoiseshell in the time, which is painted polychrome with a shepherd scene, after Franchois Boucher. Very good condition, no flaking of the delicate tortoiseshell, perfect closing. France Louisquinze 1730 - 1755
