Antique tobacco pot, continental European (possibly England) between 1820-1850, brass and sheet iron setting and painted, cylindrical with protruding profiled edge, flat lid with disc knob and internal lead weights to press down the tobacco. All around painted with a farmer's wife riding a white horse and children playing. These types of tobacco pots are also known by the company Ludwig Evers or Evers successor from Braunschweig / Wolfenbüttel, also from the company Stobwasser are handed down this type of production of tobacco pots. Rare and very good condition.
