Baroque Snuffbox
Baroque snuffbox in a large version made of brass, Germany / Holland 1730-1750. With fine engravings on both sides and a bon mot engraved on the body: "VER LAAT DE WEERELT", depending on how this is read, roughly "far from the world or far from the weather". Normal but subtle wear and tear, very nice overall condition.
