Antique Baroque Snuffbox

Antique baroque snuffbox for smoking tobacco. Iserlohn form, brass, bottom and lid richly engraved with medallions on both sides with portraits of a man and a woman. This snuffbox was completely hot-dip tinned from the inside to avoid unwanted deposits or tarnishing of the brass. This was quite common at the time. Normal wear and tear. Very nice condition.
