Baroque Pipe Case

Baroque pipe case for a clay pipe. Peach tree wood with brass fittings. The body of the case was equipped with fine fire decorations, spun brass wire and a finely grooved brass sleeve. A date from 1762 can still be read on the brass hinge. Very good and beautiful condition. Note: In general, pipe cases for clay pipes as well as clay pipes made between 1650 and 1850 are very rarely found on the collector's market. Deko not for sale!
