Antique Snuffbox
Antique snuffbox of a farmer relieving himself of his needs. Peach tree wood, hand carved. France / Alsace between 1820-50. Of course, this snuffbox should be viewed with a certain wink, and that's what it should be. These extremely charming figure boxes were once very popular with snuff lovers. Today, well-preserved pieces of this type of snuffboxes have become very rare and fetch top prices at auction. This was used very little and is therefore in perfect, ideal condition.
